Service Technician

Although similar to a pool and hot tub maintenance professional, a service technician specializes in water treatment for swimming pools and hot tubs. Day-to-day tasks involve repairing equipment, fixing leaks and cracks, testing pH levels, ensuring chemical balance in the water, working with various chemicals, and diagnosing issues with pools or their equipment. Communicating with clients is a major aspect of these positions; therefore, explaining issues or solutions related to the pool in a clear manner is critical. Service technicians work full-time along with evenings or weekends. Emergency calls are also expected. Since this role requires client interaction and inspection, these positions are normally in-person.
